Johannesburg, South Africa – At Café Kreme, we believe that great coffee tastes even better when it’s paired with purpose. This year, we were proud to support GROOT GEEweek2025. An inspiring giving initiative by GROOTfm 90.5 and the Atterbury Trust, held from 27 to 31 October.
The campaign raised funds for essential community upliftment projects across South Africa. Ranging from education subsidies through the Atterbury Trust to nutritional support and medical assistance via Triomf-Kliniek. By contributing to this initiative, Café Kreme reaffirmed its commitment. To creating a positive impact that goes far beyond the cup.
“At Café Kreme, we’ve always believed that a great cup of coffee has the power to connect people—and connection is at the heart of giving,” said Nicholas Harris, Managing Director of Café Kreme. “Supporting GROOT GEEweekwas our way of investing back into the communities that support us every day. We’re proud to have played a small part in bringing warmth, hope, and opportunity to those who need it most.”
Brewing Community Spirit
For Café Kreme, being part of GROOT GEEweek was more than a donation. It was a celebration of community, compassion, and connection. Each contribution helped empower South Africans through education, nourishment, and healthcare, reflecting the values that guide our brand every day.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We extend our gratitude to GROOTfm 90.5, the Atterbury Trust. Thank you to everyone who joined hands to make GROOT GEEweek 2025 such a success. Together, we proved that when we brew good, we do good. And that the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.
